If you are looking for just plain old belly dancing, don't look here! There is nothing
plain about Sirens In Sanity classes...At each class, students are encouraged to dress
in colorful dance attire, skirts, harem pants, bodysuits or bras, and noisy coin belts.
Sirens believe that the richness of your dress will transfer over into a richness in your
dancing.
Sirens In Sanity has built their reputation upon a dance style which is unique, original,
and creative. Students get more than basic belly dance technique, they learn how to apply
the technique to their own particular essence which allows each dancer to develop a style
of their own. Students learn not only the essential belly dance movements of the hips,
stomach, arms, shoulders and head, they also learn how to perform with confidence and
keep the audience wanting more! This is a strength of Sirens In Sanity and their
students and troupe members are proof of their success.
"Dynamic", "Expressive", "Elegant", and "Diverse" are the words which
have been used to describe Sirens In Sanity performances.
Classes are taught by the directors of Sirens In Sanity - Saiedeh & Yasmine. It's
a terrific workout and lots of fun!!!

Belly Dance Technique and Choreography - Mixed Level - Tuesday 6-7pm |
| This is a level 2 class, to be intended to add to you level 1 training. Weekly
choreography projects and technique will be the focus. Taught by Chari "Saiedeh" Garrett.

| SIS offers private lessons to soloists wanting specific help on technique,
routine planning and choreography, duets/trios, and troupe. If you group wants another professional
to look over your routines and help polish them up....we are perfect for that. Working together
with another dancer is always helpful. The private lessons would be held in our Benicia Studio

Hip Hop Street Jazz Class with Tanya A. - Fri. 6:15-7:15pm |
| Tanya’s class fuses Old school & New school Hip Hop Style with fluid Street
Jazz to create innovative, versatile movement within her students. Class warm up
includes poppin’ isolations, gliding, and various stretches mixed with freestyle.
Choreography is taught with various music throughout the class to enhance your natural abilities. Tanya will also introduce performance skills that are fun and exciting.
Tanya's work has been seen on MTV, The Queen Latifah Show, NBC, ABC, Telemundo and on the
stages of Harvey's Lake Tahoe & Caesar's Palace Las Vegas. She has toured the U.S. and
Internationally with numerous Recording Artists and Acclaimed Dance Groups and has been
teaching & training other's to dance for 18 years. Many of her former students have gone
on to dance professionally.

Ballroom Classes by Esther Jobrack - By appt. only. |
| Learn social level Ballroom and Latin dance instruction. The teaching method is
fun, and easy going. Laughing together will undoubtedly be a part of the class. Lessons will
cover posture, floor craft, etiquette and leading skills in Fox Trot, Waltz, and Jitterbug,
Latin styling and rhythms in Cha Cha Cha, Rhumba, and Mambo/Salsa. Partners are not required.
Please gentlemen no hats. Avoid athletic shoes, because they don't allow you to turn freely.
